BSSS 2013

The British Society of Soil Science (BSSS) Early Career Researcher Conference was held on 27th-28th March 2013 and hosted over 50 researchers (mostly PhDs) and dozen professors from UK institutions with the common theme being "soil". The conference was held at York University and hosted by Prof. Phil Haygarth, the president of the British Soil Science Society. I presented a poster that showed some of my early findings with regards to changes in soil carbon stocks when roots and/or plant litter are excluded from entering the soil under a Miscanthus plantation.
