A Miscanthus life cycle assessment

This paper, entitled "A Miscanthus plantation can be carbon neutral without increasing soil carbon stocks" provides a life cycle greenhouse gas balance of a commercial plantation in the UK measured over 4 years. Despite no net increase in soil carbon stocks (see this twinned paper), this plantation was found to offset considerable greenhouse gas emissions while generating electricity from a renewable source (-1.4 kg CO2-eq kWh-1). The abstract can be seen below and the full text can be accessed through this link.
